The Pentool Table was inspired by the segment cut of a circular form,
designed to reduce material waste while creating a new visual balance.

When producing circular tables, once materials like MDF or particle board are cut into shape,
The leftover segments are often difficult to recycle and frequently end up in waste.
Material Efficiency

Inspired by the Pen Tool from Adobe Illustrator, the design explores
a structure that is both material-efficient and visually distinctive for a round table.
From Tool to Table
Could we design a round table that minimizes material waste?

The product is officially registered at Dongyeon Design,
under the model number TTT0201.
Product Realization
with Pentool
The table minimizes material
waste through optimized cutting
and structural simplicity.
Material efficiency naturally
leads to sustainability
through reduced waste and simplified production.
The form originates from the logic
of circular cutting, creating a unique yet balanced silhouette reminiscent of digital precision.
